A new self-winding perpetual calendar has been added to the Patek Philippe collection. It comes in a Calatrava case with beautifully scalloped lugs and applied Breguet numerals. The yellow- and rosegold models feature ivory lacquered dials with recessed counters. The white-gold version has a blue sunburst dial. The watches come with a sapphire-crystal case back and an interchangeable solid-gold back.

The ultra-thin self-winding Ladies First Perpetual Calendar is now available in a new white-gold model that complements the rose-gold version. The diamond-set bezel deflects the light on a silvery sunburst dial with applied numerals and minute pearls in gold. A Grand Complication with incomparable feminine appeal.

The split-seconds chronograph is one of the three most difficult complications to master, alongside the tourbillon and the minute repeater. It takes a highly sophisticated mechanism to control the two chronograph hands, one of which may be stopped to measure an intermediate or lap time or retain a reference time while the other continues its course unaffected, even by fractions of a second. When released again, the split-seconds hand instantly catches up with the primary hand and the two stacked hands move on together. .
